Vicarage Offermannsheide

N/A

Version from December 2021

The two-storey half-timbered house, now known as the "Vikarie", was built in 1904 by Franz Frangenberg as a residence and inn. Originally, the house had a small room in the attic. In the same year, Franz Frangenberg, who worked in the sawmill in Georghausen, sold the house to his employer Baron von Landsberg.

Until 1911, the house served as the sexton's residence for Wilhelm Burgmer, who also continued to run the inn. The house was also popularly known as the forester's house because two families of foresters lived there in succession.

In 1931, the Catholic parish of Offermannsheide acquired the house and was occupied by two parties from 1934.

In 1980, the house was rented to Karl-Heinz Fuls for a longer period of time on the condition that it be renovated.

From 1988, his wife Hildegard Vormschlag-Fuls and their son Dominik Vormschlag also lived in the house.

In 2001, the house was sold to the long-term tenant.

In 2002, the roof truss and roof were rebuilt and extended. Further renovation measures were also carried out.

In 2014, the house was put up for sale again.

As a result, Dominik Vormschlag and his wife Sandra Knollhuff bought the property in 2017, having lived in the house since 2016. A further, ongoing core renovation followed.
