Anyone who is interested in the history of the community of Kürten and the surrounding area and does not want the Bergisches Platt to go under can join the historical association. In both cases you can participate or support actively or as a donor. Everyone is welcome!

Here are some Examples: Maintaining the dialect at the regulars' table of the Kürten historical association, lectures on local history, cultural-historical hikes in the region, trips to historically interesting cities, to exhibitions, to former commercial locations or to industrial museums, club festivals, Advent readings.

2. Support the work of the association as a donor

Unfortunately, club work also costs money. For larger projects, the association's contributions are not enough to cover the costs. Against this background, we are dependent on further financial support. That's why we applied for non-profit status for the association and got it approved by the tax office. We can therefore issue a donation receipt for every donation so that you as a donor can take the support into account on your tax return. We are happy about any amount!
